I don't make a big secret about the fact that I love cats; if I'm being totally honest I play up to the crazy cat lady persona rather than shy away from it. On a serious note, I also have a lot of love for cat shelters, and the people who work in them.

Willows Cat Adoption Centre opened a Cat Cafe on their premises (Yes, a cat cafe!!), and it is just perfect. Usually, it's only open on Mondays, but it's opening especially for Valentine's day for anyone who'd rather have a date with a kitten than a human. Actually, why not take your human date there? Come on, you can buy cake for your sweetheart and support abandoned cats at the same time!

One of my very own fur children came from Willows. She had been living on the streets since birth, and was found at six months old. She's now eight and completely spoilt!

It's probably a good idea to book before you go, they're very popular and it's a very small cafe!
